Photography Rental FAQ
Thank you for choosing Poe Family Farm for your photography session! We know you will capture beautiful moments among our specialty blooms. Please take a moment to read the following to ensure a wonderful and safe experience.​
​CAN WE USE YOUR FLOWER FIELDS FOR A PHOTO SESSION?
Yes! We have available one-hour time slots. Booking gives you unlimited access to the farm for a single family/client for up to one hour. 


DO I NEED BUSINESS LIABILITY INSURANCE TO RENT YOUR FARM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY?
We require photographers renting our farm to have business liability insurance.

WHAT IF I’M NOT A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER, OR I DON'T HAVE A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA?
At present, we only allow access to the farm for professional photographers who have business liability insurance.

WHAT IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT?
You may reschedule your appointment up to one hour in advance. Please note that we do not provide refunds for missed appointments.

WHAT IF IT RAINS AT MY SESSION TIME?
Please contact us in advance if weather conditions are unfavorable. We will provide the option to reschedule your appointment only if it is actively raining during your scheduled time. Rescheduling is not permitted if it has rained before your appointment and the grounds are still damp. Generally, our flower fields are easy to navigate and not overly muddy.

WHAT IF MY CLIENTS CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE?
We allow rescheduling online up to one hour in advance. We do not provide refunds for cancellations or missed appointments.


WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE OR OVER MY ALLOTTED RENTAL TIME WITH MY CLIENTS?
Please be mindful of your reserved time slot and plan ahead. We may have another photographer scheduled before or after your appointment.

HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE?
We do not permit early access. Another photographer may be with their client in the fields before your session, which could be disruptive. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your session.


WHAT FLOWERS WILL BE IN BLOOM?
There are countless beautiful photo opportunities on the farm. We cultivate a wide variety of flowers in many colors.
Our flower farm boasts the highest number of blooms from June through October. To see what's in bloom during different times of the year, we recommend checking our Instagram posts. Please keep in mind that this is a functioning flower farm, so the availability of certain flowers may vary due to weather conditions and the season.

CAN I BRING MY PETS OR A CLIENT’S PETS?
While we love all animals, we kindly request that you keep your pets at home. We have several dogs and cats on our farm, and visiting animals can be disruptive. Service animals are permitted, but please inform us in advance so we can ensure our pets are properly managed. Thank you for your understanding!

CAN I PICK FLOWERS FOR MY SHOOT?
We kindly ask that you do not pick the flowers and be mindful not to step on them. If you need flowers for your shoot, please contact us in advance to purchase them.


CAN I FLY MY DRONE?
No, drones are not allowed.

We do not give refunds.
